Hengpro                        Table Lamp

INSPIRATION:
Inspired by the traditional pull switch, the structure of this pull switch has been changed and applied to the switch mode of the table lamp. Connected to the lamp switch, the small ball on the base has a magnet inside,when it is drawn by the ball hanging in the frame, the switch is pulled and the lamp is lit.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Hengpro breaks the tradition way to turn on the lamp. The whole table lamp does not seem to have a main power switch or button. We just need to lift the small ball placed on the base and attract the small ball hanging in the light frame to achieve a balance to light the lamp. The lamp could be switched between warm and cold light and the brightness of the light could be adjusted, by touching the lamp sides. Hengpro has innovated a new interactive way of table lamps.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Raise the small ball placed on the base upward, and attract the ball above to light Hengpro ; touch the side of the lamp base to switch between warm and cold light and adjust the light brightness; put the lower ball back finally to the lamp base, which is attracted to the magnet on the base, and the light is turned off.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The program started in Guangzhou in May 2016, completed in Shenzhen in August 2019, and exhibited in Shenzhen in April 2019.
